Mission and Goals
Mission Statement:
We seek to find Jesus Christ as we strive to become the saints we are called to be.
Goals:
To receive Jesus Christ with reverence and love as we celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
To overcome sin and make progress along the way of perfection by a frequent and fruitful reception of the Sacrament of Penance.
To instruct our parishioners and all interested in the development of a good and healthy and balanced prayer life through courses on Catholic spirituality aimed at helping all to be faithful to the “Universal Call to Holiness.”
To provide a deeper understanding of the “Splendor
of Truth” through the implementation of challenging, balanced, and
faithful education programs: St. Louis Catholic School, a CYO group, Adult
Education and an effective RCIA program, for the instruction/information of
those who seek to become Catholic.
To include the sick and homebound (“the treasures of the Church”) in our worship by frequent Eucharistic visitation and by keeping in touch with them.
To provide opportunities for all members of the
parish to become involved in our family and in the wider community.
